Tonight, let us root for the Rays.
Because yet another "improbable, miraculous" comeback by the Boston Red Sox would make the fans in that city even more insufferable, not to mention what they'd be saying on ESPN about them for the next, I don't know, forever years.
We don't ask for much around here on this blog. But we will ask for this - no more success for Boston sports teams, okay?
Go Rays!

while the knicks are persona non grata i actually dont mind the celts winning, it was nice to see pierce and kg get rings, but a pox on all the houses of boston sports is otherwise appropriate.
Grant Greenberg (local schmuck reporter) was live at Kenmore Square after the game. The only other people there were cops in riot gear and/or on horses, and a fat blubbering jackass Sox fan. It was fantastic. As Grant Greenberg was reporting about how no one was at Kenmore Square, the cops started leaving to put the horses back in the stable. It was fantastic. Shadenfreud (spelling?) is awesome.
